I have a love-hate relationship with samples. On one hand, it’s fun to get a little free gift with purchase. On the other hand, they often tempt me into spending more money on full sized products that weren’t even on my radar before. This was exactly the case with the I’m From Honey Mask. After trying a sample, I had to have it!

I’m From Honey Mask nourishes and soothes the skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect. I provide a full list of ingredients at the end of the review, but please note that honey is in the very first place. This product is not tested on animals and is 5 free / made without five potentially harmful ingredients. In addition to honey, the mask contains other nourishing ingredients - macadamia oil, shea butter, jojoba oil, aloe, and propolis.

How to use:

1. Cleanse your face
2. Apply the mask in an even layer (it comes with a cute spatula for hygienic application without having to dip fingers into the jar)
3. Relax for 10 minutes (resist the urge to taste the mask!)
4. Rinse with warm water

The jar should be kept at room temperature (honey will harden if it gets too cold).

My impressions:

What a fantastic product! My deep appreciation for I’m From started with their mugwort mask (review here). It’s still Winter here in the Midwest (although we had a few warm and sunny days, during which everyone and their mom lined up at the car wash). My combination skin gets pretty ticked off at the cold winds outside and the dry heat indoors and gets dehydrated and oily at the same time. The I’m From Honey Mask brings it back to life.

The consistency deserves a special mention - so creamy and rich; I love applying it and feeling it melt into my skin under my fingertips. Afterwards, the skin is soft, hydrated, and silky-smooth. I highly recommend this mask. It was one of the best purchases of 2019 for me, and I would happily buy it again and again.

This premium wash-off mask contains 38.7% natural honey from Mountain Jiri of Korea alongside propolis, bee venom, oils from macadamia nut, jojoba seed, hazelnut and sunflower seed oil to tighten pores, hydrate and nourish skin, leaving it soft and smooth. Take a little bit of rosewater to bind everything together..

Mix everything to make a consistent paste..

Apply this on the skin and let dry..

Due to its stickier texture compared to other types of Korean face masks, this wash-off mask is recommended to be used for up to 1 hour only. For best results, you can use this honey face mask 2-3 times a week or depending on what your skin needs.
