So sánh giá fps 4160 focal năm 2024

AB-Class Amplifier Design: The Focal FPS 4160 amplifier features an AB-class amplification design for excellent sound quality.

Symmetrical Design: The Focal FPS 4160 utilizes dual mono symmetric construction (PCB circuits in perfect mirror-image) that clearly increase the independent performance of each of the amplifier's channels, while improving the staging and the stereo disassociation.

Channel Design: The Focal FPS 4160 can be configured as a 4-channel, 3-channel, or 2-channel amplifier. The amplifier is stable down to 2-ohms in stereo, and 4-ohms when bridged.

CEA 2006 Compliant: The FPS 4160's power ratings are measured according to the strict standards dictated by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). These standards allow you to accurately compare the rated power output of all CEA 2006-compliant amplifiers, even if they come from different brands. Manufacturers who adhere to the standards can display the CEA 2006 logo on their products and packaging.

  • CEA 2006 Rating: 120 watts x 4-channel in 4-ohms @ 20 to 20,000 Hz with 1% THD+N

2-Ohm Stable: The amplifier is stable down to 2-ohms in stereo, and 4-ohms when bridged.

  • 2-Ohm Rating: 200 watts x 4-channel in 2-ohms @ 1kHz with 0.07% THD
  • Bridged (4-ohm): 380 watts x 2-channel in 4-ohms @ 1kHz with 0.08%

Soft-Clipping: The amplifier's dynamic soft clipping feature protects your connected speakers from distortion.

Controlled Cooling System: The Focal FPS 4160 utilizes a progressive controlled cooling system to regulate the amplifier's temperature by controlling air flow through an active fan and integrated cooling fins. Even before the thermo-regulated 3-1/8" low-noise cooling fan begins rotating at 122°F, the "T" shape of the amplifier's cooling fins permits 17% of active surface heat dissipation while guaranteeing extreme rigidity to the chassis.

Note: The cooling system only works when the amplifier temperature exceeds 122°F. The rotation speed of the cooling system depends on the amplifier's temperature.

Protection Circuitry: The Focal FPS 4160 amplifier employs the following protection circuits- short circuit, thermal overload, over voltage, polarity reversal.

LED Indicators: The green LED "Power" indicator means the amplifier is on and operating properly. The red LED "Protect" indicator means that the amplifier has shut-down and is under protection.

Anti-vibration Feet: The Focal amplifier is equipped with four integrated damping rubber feet to resist vibration.

High-Cap Compatible (optional): The optional Focal High-Cap (091FPSCAP, sold separately) is an external power supply module. Once connected to the Focal amplifier, it increases the amplifier's power supply. The resulting benefit is a higher-fidelity audio signal from the Focal amplifier and overall better music performance, with enhanced dynamic behavior, improved speaker control and punchier bass.

Note: The FPS 4160 requires two Focal High-Caps.

Controls

Front-mounted Controls: The amplifier has controls conveniently mounted on the front panel.

Gain Control: You can adjust the level of the input signal for the front and rear channels of the amplifier independently. Range is 0.2 Volts to 5.0 Volts.

Fader Switch: A two-way switch for configuring the amp for two-channel or four-channel inputs. If you have a 4-channel input signal, you should push in the fader switch so you can fade from front to back using the head unit fader. If you have only a two-channel input signal, the switch should be in the Off position so all 4 channels of the amplifier can be fed with the 2-channel input signal, with no fading available.

Crossover Switch: This 3-way switch lets you select the crossover operation for the front and rear channels of the amplifier independently. You can choose from High-pass, Band-pass, or Low-Pass

Frequency: Using this rotary control, you can select a cutoff frequency (50-500 Hz or 500-5,000 Hz) for the front and rear crossovers. The crossovers have a slope of 12 dB/octave.

Direct Mode: You can defeat the crossovers for the amplifier's front and rear channels, so that the audio signal of the Focal FPS 4160 is directly amplified without any crossover adjustments.

Wired Bass Knob: The Focal FPS 4160 comes with a wired bass-level control knob. The bass-level is adjustable from -9 to +9 dB. The bass-level knob also features a mute button to completely attenuate the audio coming from the amplifier. The bass-level knob features integrated flanges and comes with two screws to mount the unit under the dash. It includes a 16' cable to connect to the amplifier.

Note: The wired remote measures 2.625" (w) x 1.0625 (h) x 2.4375" (d)

Connections

Front-mounted Terminals: The Focal FPS 4160 has all of the cable connections on the front of the amplifier for a clean installation.

Power Input: Two set-screw terminals are provided for connecting the power and ground cables. The terminals can accept up to 2-gauge wire, however, a 4-gauge wiring kit is sufficient for the 60-amp rating of the built-in fuse. The set screws can be tightened/loosened with the supplied Hex wrench.

Remote Turn-on: A set screw terminal for connecting the remote turn-on lead. The terminal will accept up to 10-gauge wire. The set screw can be tightened/loosened with the supplied Hex wrench.

Speaker Outputs: 4 pairs of set-screw terminals are provided for connecting speakers. The terminals can accept up to 8-gauge wire. The set screws can be tightened/loosened with the supplied Hex wrench.

Pseudo-Balanced Inputs: The amplifier is equipped with two pair of left & right gold-plated RCA jacks (front/rear) for the input signal from the head unit. These pseudo-balanced inputs help to reject ground noise.

Remote Control: An RJ-14 jack for connecting the supplied remote bass control module.

Maxi Fuses: The amp is equipped with two 40-amp Maxi fuses. Two spare fuses are included with the amplifier.
