Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. This shoe has a thin padding between material making the sides and lip of the shoe more comfortable. Also I was pleased to find a cushioned sole insert which is definitely an upgrade from the regular Chucks I am used to. The sole insert is not glued down and can be removed easily. The blue rubber sole on the bottom of the shoe isn't very rigid compared to Chucks and I can see this wearing down quicker. The sizing of the shoe is similar to the sizing of Chuck Taylors. I wear US 11s but always order 10.5 when getting Chucks. The shoe adds about 1 inch to your height when they are on your feet. The white rubber around the smile of the shoe contains tiny little circles on them giving them a rough edge. If you zoom in far enough in the preview window you will see what I am talking about. I have skinny feet, and they actually fit me pretty snugly. They seem to have more cushion than your standard Converse shoes. (I own 3 pairs of Converse.)
