Departments using the outdated, unsupported version of Acrobat (XI) should consider purchasing the most current version. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 can be purchased for $102.35. Purchasing this version will ensure you receive updates and support through June 2025. For larger departments, these licenses are transferrable. As employees leave and replacements fill their positions, you will not need to purchase another. The UIS Service Desk simply reassigns the license to the new employee.

If you want to take advantage of these benefits, you need to download and install the patch on your computer. However, you cannot use the automatic update feature that is built into Acrobat XI, because it has been discontinued by Adobe. Instead, you need to follow the manual update process that we will explain below.

How to Download Adobe Acrobat XI Pro 11.0.27 Patch? The first step to install the patch is to download it from the official Adobe website. To do that, follow these steps:

I'm running into trouble with installing the AcrobatSecUpd11002.pkg (downloaded from ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/mac/11.x/11.0.02/misc/). I have a policy set up to deploy the package, yet I returns the follow error when attempting to execute:

I have also confirmed that it gives more or less the same result when using Remote:
