Cannot properly get into fastboot mode.
Hi all.
I'm trying to unlock the bootloader but cannot seem to get into fastboot mode properly
I power off the phone, hold down volume up and connect the USB lead as per instrustions.
The indicator LED will show blue (which I believe is to indicate fastboot mode), but then goes red and then green.
Green I understands as the battery is fully charged but I'm not sure what the red is for as I think this is stopping the fastboot drivers from installing/loading.
If I watch Windows' Device Manager during the process, I can see that a new device names "S1Boot Fastboot" is created under "Other devices" but this disappears when the blue LED switches.
Device Maneger then has not references to ADB or Fastboot that I can see and if I try the Fastboot version check, I just get "< waiting for device >"
Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?
I've tried this on Win7HP x64 and Win7Corp x86 both with SP1 with the same results.
Cheers.

OK, finally manged to get the ADB drivers installed.
1. Get the driver and Fastboot package from this here - //androidlegend.com/how-to-unlock-bootloader-of-sony-xperia-p-lt21i - and unpack some where
2. Have Windows Device Manager screen up and ready
3. Hold volume-up and plug USB cable in as usual - "S1Boot Fastboot" device should popup on Device Manager with exclaimantion icon; quickly right click and choose "Update Driver Software..." before the list refreshes and the device disappears
4. Choose"Browse..." -> "Let me pick..." - > "Have Disk..." -> navigate to the usb_driver folder you unpacked in step 1 and hit ok.
5. You should then see two devices; select the Fastboot from there.
Next time you try to use fastboot, the phone should stay in blue fast boot mode and "> fastboot devices" will list the phone.
