Ngày 17/10/2017, Bộ Y Tế ban hành Thông tư 38/2017/TT-BYT về Danh mục bệnh truyền nhiễm, phạm vi và đối tượng phải sử dụng vắc xin, sinh phẩm y tế bắt buộc.
Danh mục bệnh truyền nhiễm trong Chương trình Tiêm chủng mở rộng tại Thông tư 38 đã giảm đi 2 bệnh (bệnh thương hàn và bệnh tả) so với quy định hiện hành tại Thông tư 26/2011/TT-BYT .
Đồng thời, bổ sung bệnh Rubella vào Chương trình Tiêm chủng mở rộng cho đối tượng trẻ em dưới 2 tuổi, và được tiêm khi trẻ đủ 18 tháng tuổi.
Danh mục này sẽ được Bộ Y Tế cập nhật và bổ sung trong trường hợp cần thiết.
Ngoài ra, Thông tư trên còn bỏ hơn 10 loại bệnh thuộc Danh mục bệnh truyền nhiễm phải sử dụng vắc xin, sinh phẩm y tế bắt buộc đối với người có nguy cơ mắc bệnh truyền nhiễm tại vùng có dịch hoặc đến vùng có dịch.

INTRODUCING LISTS OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES, SCOPE AND RECIPIENTS OF COMPULSORY VACCINES AND BIOLOGICALS
Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases No. 03/2007/QH12 dated November 21, 2007;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 75/2017/ND-CP dated June 20, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Upon the request of the Director of the General Department of Preventive Medicine;
The Minister of Health hereby promulgates the Circular that introduces the lists of infectious diseases, scope and recipients of compulsory vaccines and biologicals.

Rabies vaccines and anti-rabies serums
2. The scope and recipients of compulsory vaccines in the list given in clause 1 of this Article shall be determined under the decision of the Department of Health or under the instruction of the Ministry of Health, based on epidemic situations, conditions for supply of vaccines and available resources of each locality.
3. The list referred to in clause 1 of this Article shall be revised by the Ministry of Health where necessary.
Article 3. Entry into force
1. This Circular shall enter into force from January 1, 2018.
2. The Circular No. 26/2011/TT-BYT dated June 24, 2011 of the Minister of Health, introducing the lists of infectious diseases, scope and recipients of compulsory vaccines and biologicals, shall be repealed from the date of entry into force of this Circular.
In the course of implementation of this Circular, if there is any difficulty arising, the Ministry of Health (General Department of Preventive Medicine) should be promptly informed to consider taking possible actions./.
